So. Quite frankly. I'm going to begin the train of disappointment for today.

Point One.
Removing my nail polish my nails feel sticky and my fingers feel rubbery against each other. It's quite disgusting and I've tried to wash my hands using both dish soap and hand soap but never really found anything to stop it. Could this be because the base coat I use is starting to get rather goopy ?

Point Two.
Sally Hansen InstaDri in Rose A GoGo. I'm not sure if it's just me but despite the fact it's old I truly dislike the brush despite how it's almost perfect for my nails, the slenderness of the bottle in relation to the brush as I just can't seem either have the right amount of polish on the brush.

Please ignore the fact that I forgot to set the camera to macro. But you still see the colour as close to the colour that it is on the nails.

Verdict, while it's pretty. It seems hugely goopy, aswell as streaky - although I did only put on 2 coats. But still, I find the colour makes me grey and I have a very pale skin tone to begin with. I can't understand why it doesn't look right. It's a pity, but a perfect toenail colour I find. It just doesn't seem up to the job for nails - this shade at least.

Point Three.
SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO TO STOP THIS. I'm peeling away. Constantly. As you can see I'm terrified to file and if I cut in the wrong direction I'm scared to try and correct.

HELPPPPPPPPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. (On a budget.) I'm after home remedies and I found taking the nail supplements didn't work or change anything to do with my nails. Gosh.

Quite simply. I've never felt motivated to blog until after today when the most startling thing happened.

My nails grew a visible 1mm.

Trust me, I've tried that Sally Hansen growth stuff - in a blue bottle. I can't even recall it's name as quite frankly, that like the NYC pink polish stuff haven't shown any sign of working.

But today I went swimming; was in the pool for close to 4 hours, came out and found I was the proud owner of talons.




I swear hands down a full mm. They also surprisingly feel strong despite the fact my middle finger on the hand not shown has decided it's time to start flaking again and has flaked down the entire new growth. Typical.

Quite simply, whooppeeeee ! And I shall try painting them up.

Actually, speaking of nails. ColourClub's Revvvolution is disgusting. I absolutely hate it and regret ever buying it. What a truly horrible colour, how can I like it on other people but despise it on myself. I've used it once and can't even think whether to Franken it as it hardly has any colour to bother with.

Now my elated mood from the growth has disappeared. Yuck.
